A couple of months ago I listed my ten favourite albums from 2007. After a couple more months of listening and listening to some new albums, the list has changed. Here is the new and improved version.

Wine Library TV is the name of a video blog podcast. It is a daily podcast featuring Gary Vaynerchuk tasting wines. In someone else’s hands this could be a pretentious, boring show. But thanks to Gary Vaynerchuk it is just the opposite. This show is very entertaining. So much so that I can watch this show five days a week and not get tired of it, even with my fairly limited interest in wine.The show’s tag line is “You, with a little bit of me, we’re changing the wine world”, and focuses on embracing one’s own pallet and trying new things. This can be kind of controversial here in North America where the wine industry is heavily influenced by reviews and marketing. So it is refreshing to watch a show that encourages you to try new wines and different wine/food combinations, instead of just telling you to spend a lot of money to get good wine.A word of warning though, the first time you watching Wine Library TV the beginning of the show may be a little overwhelming to some as Gary starts the show off very enthusiastically. So make sure and watch the whole episode before deciding if you will watch again.Leave a comment on how you enjoyed the show. I received my new ipod Classic in the mail on Wednesday. It is a silver 80GB model. I chose the free engraving option. I used a line from the Radiohead song “Karma Police”. This is what you get when you mess with us.

Last Tuesday Logan Smith and I had some wine and cheese while watching Extras.

We watched the first three episodes of series two. As you can see from the photo above, we just watched it on my small macbook screen. But it was still good. We had three kinds of cheese: brie, gouda and blue cheese. The wine was a M. Chapoutier Côtes du Rhône.
